I got it this far, 2 days before leaving for Sicily. The issue is the paper. I started it on watercolor paper, thinking the coldpress texture would hold the pastel pigment. It holds 1-2 layers but that's all. So unfortunately at this point it's all falling away from the paper. This is something to take up when I get back.
