Figure Studies.
Since college days, I've continued with figure drawing sessions throughout my adult life. regardless of what other work I was doing and through all the ups and downs of artist inspiration, I continued figure drawing on a fairly regular basis. It has been the one artistic activity that kept me tied to art even when I felt I'd lost all motivation or felt I had nothing to say. I could count on the human figure to put me in "the zone" - that flow state where focus is so complete, words are impossible.
