I haven't done art in awhile and really miss it.  I'm badly in need of a new approach to working in my studio and I don't know what that is yet. I just know the way I work isn't motivating in the long term. So to at least get back into the rhythm of drawing again, last night I signed up for a Zoom figure drawing session. I did it today, and it was very well managed - with a really great model from Argentina!

Altho every initial drawing session after a long blank spell is difficult, this one was less painful than in the past, and I’m fairly happy with the results. The charcoal and conte sticks felt a bit awkward in my hand - and although her hand is too long, I think I got the other proportions mostly right and even a likeness in her face. So I'm happy!
